Kesimpulan dari seluruh mazmur: “Biarlah segala yang bernafas memuji TUHAN! Haleluya!” (ayat 6). Ajakan bagi segala makhluk untuk memuji TUHAN: memuji TUHAN di dalam cakrawala-Nya yang kuat–pujian dari semua mahkluk di bawah dan di atas langit. Ajakan memuji TUHAN di dalam Bait-Nya–pujian dari umat pilihan TUHAN (ayat 1).
Pujian kepada TUHAN untuk mengakui perbuatan-perbuatan-Nya yang penuh kuasa, untuk mengakui kebesaran-Nya yang melampaui segala sesuatu (ayat 2). Puji-pujian kepada TUHAN dinaikkan dengan segenap hati, dengan semua yang ada dan yang bisa dilakukan: dengan suara, dengan sikap tubuh, dengan alat-alat musik (ayat 3-5).
Penerapan:
(1) Ketika saya, sebagai ciptaan yang sumber hidup saya berasal dari Tuhan, yang segala sesuatu di dalam hidup saya merupakan anugerah Tuhan, yang perjalanan hidup saya dikendalikan oleh Tuhan, yang akhir hidup saya ada di tangah Tuhan–apakah yang bisa saya kerjakan kecuali: memuji dan menyembah Tuhan?
(2) kalau pandangan saya dipenuhi dengan kebesaran dan keagungan Tuhan, kalau hati dan pikiran saya dipenuhi dengan pujian dan penyembahan kepada Tuhan, maka seharusnya sudah tidak ada tempat untuk kesombongan, iri/dengki, kemarahan, kritik atau cemoohan kepada apapun juga.
